SUMMER IS HERE!!!! SUMMER IS HERE!!!!

WATER AND SUMMER ITEMS!

Hello Families! Summer is just around the corner, and we can’t believe how fast this year is going by! Starting June 1st, we will begin all of our summer festivities β€” one of our favorites being Water Days! β˜€οΈπŸ’¦

🚨 PLEASE START BRINGING IN ALL WATER DAY ITEMS STARTING NEXT TUESDAY SO EVERYTHING IS HERE BY JUNE 1ST. 🚨

In order for your child to participate, they will need to bring:

β€’ A swimsuit or swim shorts & swim shirt
β€’ CLOSED-TOE water shoes
β€’ A towel
β€’ If your child is in diapers, swim diapers must also be brought in

🚨 EVERY SINGLE ITEM MUST BE LABELED. Please do not bring items in for teachers to label. 🚨

All items will be kept here at the center throughout the summer and will be laundered here as needed.

β˜€οΈ Sunscreen Information β˜€οΈ
Please apply sunscreen to your child before arriving at school each day. We use Blue Lizard SPF 50 sunscreen at the center and will reapply throughout the day as needed, at minimum once in the afternoon, to help keep everyone safe during outdoor activities.

You do not need to bring sunscreen for your child unless they have an allergy or sensitivity to Blue Lizard SPF 50. If your child requires a different sunscreen, please make sure it is clearly labeled and provided to the center.

Thank you for helping us make Water Days fun and safe for everyone! We are so excited for an amazing summer together!

CONGRATS GRADS!!!

We are so proud of our Pre-K kiddos!!! πŸŽ“πŸ’š

Graduation each year is always bittersweet, but this class holds such a special place in our hearts because they were our very first infant class here at First Adventures! Watching them grow from tiny babies into confident, kindergarten-ready kids has been such an incredible journey.

We know some of our graduates will be spending the summer with us, while others will be heading off to new adventures in the coming days. No matter where they go next, please know how excited we are to watch them continue their educational journey. We are so thankful to have been part of these early years and know we’ll be seeing many familiar faces around!

Congratulations to all of our amazing graduates and families β€” we are beyond proud of you all! πŸŽ‰

WELCOME NEW TEAM MEMBERS!!! πŸ’š

As many of you may have noticed, several of our longtime teachers have recently moved on to pursue some BIG and exciting opportunities. While we are so incredibly proud of them and all they are accomplishing, we are definitely feeling their absence around the center! They have each left a special mark on First Adventures, and we wish them nothing but the very best in this next chapter.

With that being said, we are also very excited to welcome SEVEN new teachers to our team! We are thrilled to continue growing and bringing in new smiling faces who are excited to love and care for your kiddos.

We are also happy to share that two of our college girls, Makenna and Isabelle, are back with us for the summer! β˜€οΈ In addition, several of our college staff members will have increased availability throughout the summer months.

As our new teachers settle in and learn all about the kiddos, routines, and the special way things are done here at First Adventures, we ask for your patience and grace during this transition period. Building strong relationships with children and families takes time, and we are so thankful for your support as they get adjusted.

As always, one of the Directors is always here and available to help. If you ever have questions, concerns, or simply need anything at all, please never hesitate to reach out to one of us. Open communication with our families is always so important to us!

Thank you for continuing to trust us with your amazing kiddos each and every day! πŸ’š

SUMMER SCHEDULE REMINDERS β˜€οΈ

SUMMER SCHEDULE REMINDERS β˜€οΈ

As summer approaches, we know many families will have changes to their normal schedules! Between vacations, long weekends, summer activities, and changing work schedules, we completely understand that drop-off and pick-up times may look a little different over the next few months.

We kindly ask that you PLEASE PLEASE keep our team in mind and send us a message on Procare whenever your child will be absent, arriving later than usual, or coming earlier than normal.

Even having just one less child in attendance can sometimes impact our staffing needs and classroom coverage. Likewise, if your child will be arriving earlier than their typical time, it is very important for us to know ahead of time so we can ensure we are always properly staffed and remain in ratio.

Your communication truly helps our team more than you know and allows us to best support both our staff and kiddos throughout the busy summer season!

Thank you so much for helping us keep things running smoothly this summer! πŸ’š
