Irmo High School will host an Information Night on Tuesday, January 9 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Center for the Arts. Current and potential families are encouraged to attend to learn more about:

• High School Graduation Requirements
• This Is Escolares Program
• International Baccalaureate Programs
• Dual Enrollment Program
• Extracurricular Activities - Athletics, JROTC, Student Council, and Clubs/Organizations

Juniors and Seniors, sign up for the school day ACT or SAT. The choice form is accessible in your Power School Parent Portal. The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, January 9th. Email jhuey@lexrich5.org for more information.

If you need help filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) for your student please join us on Thursday, January 11th at 6:00pm in our School Library.

If you have not created a FAFSA account for you and your student, please do so prior to January 11th, because it takes 1-3 days for verification before completing the FAFSA online.

Set-up your account at Studentaid.gov. Please bring in your most recent federal tax returns or you may use the IRS Data Retrieval Tool for your tax return. You will also need your student's Social Security number. We will have experts on site to assist all families with their FAFSA.

Get your senior shirts or group shirts ready! The Class of 2024 Senior Class Photo will be taken on Wednesday, January 24 at 11:30 in the main gym. Order forms will be available to seniors on the day of the photo.

We're looking for Student Life pictures for the 2024 Irmo High School Yearbook. Use the form in your grade level Google Classroom to submit pictures of your Irmo High Student at work, on vacation, your favorite fashion/shoes or hanging outside of school with IHS friends.

Parents of seniors, please encourage your student to start checking the list of scholarships available on a weekly basis and complete applications by the designated deadline. If you have questions, please contact your child’s School Counselor.

Students have access to their scores beginning on November 14 by logging in to their online score report. If you do not have an account, you will need to create one by clicking on Student Score Reports.

All excuses for absences in Quarter 2 must be submitted no later than January 17, 2024.

Save the Date for the Quarter 2 Tardy Party. In order to attend, students must have zero tardies between now and the end of the quarter.

Is your child needing academic support? Irmo High School's after school tutoring meets in the Media Center every Monday and Wednesday from 4:00 until 6:00 pm. If you are interested in attending then please email Dr. Dew at sdew@lexrich5.org for details.

Order your 2024 Yearbook today for $55 (plus tax)! Limited copies remain! Prices increase to $65 (plus tax) on January 15.

The senior class portrait will be Wednesday, January 24 in the gym (time is TBD). Seniors are encouraged to wear their senior shirts or class of 2024 gear. Order forms can be picked up the day of the portrait.

Senior yearbook ads can be purchased until 2/12/24 (or until sold out). The deadline to your completed ad is 2/24/24.

Yearbooks are $55 plus tax. Only 115 yearbooks remain unsold. There will be no extra yearbooks to be sold at the end of the year. Please order soon.

Cap and gown portraits will be taken on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. Students must provide their own cap and gown. Cap and gown portraits are optional and will not be included in the yearbook. A sign up link will be sent to seniors in late February .

Order your senior a 2024 Yearbook AD!

Students are required to wear their student IDs at all times. Students may order their own temporary and permanent ID replacement using this form. Temporary IDs are $1 and Permanent ID replacements are $5. All charges will be billed to student accounts.

Irmo High School will operate on a delayed opening schedule on most Wednesdays throughout the school year. A list of Wednesdays with no delayed opening is below.

Parents and families should log in to Parent Portal to stay updated on student grades and attendance. See the presentation linked below for details on how to access Parent Portal.

In order to become a volunteer or chaperone, please complete the Volunteer Application and Confidentiality Agreement for School Volunteers and return it to the IHS volunteer liaison, Cindy Zakhar, in the main office.
