Mission

Sonora Elementary’s mission is to provide a safe community where high levels of learning are ensured for ALL.

Vision

The vision of Sonora Elementary School is to provide a future of opportunities in a rapidly changing world through an inclusive environment that: ensures children learn essential standards, encourages ALL to persevere when faced with challenges, and empowers students through choice and voice. To live this reality we believe that the most promising strategy is to develop our capacity to be a professional learning community. We envision a school in which staff:

Unite to achieve a common purpose.
Work interdependently in collaborative teams.
Demonstrate a personal commitment to the academic success and general well-being of each student.

Sonora 4 Houses, One Family Shirts

Hello Sonora families! Want to order a Sonora Elementary shirt? Just fill out this Google form and bring your payment to the office.

We can only accept exact cash, checks, or money orders made out to Sonora Elementary.
Make sure to get it done soon — last day to order is September 19th!

Once we place the orders on the 19th, the shirts should arrive within about two weeks after that.

Academic Calendar

Please review the academic calendar to identify available times for family vacations. There are no longer virtual options unless in rare circumstances. We want to make sure our students are at school for grade level instruction.
