L.M.E.A All State Audition
L.M.E.A All state Concert Band
- Students who showed interest will receive All-State music and release forms in class. Click the BIG button below for a digital copy of the release form. 🔽

- Students will do a recorded 1st round audition with the F.K White band directors between October 17th-31st. If they progress to the 2nd round, I will share a link to pay the $15.00 audition fee. This fee will be paid at the beginning of November.

LaGrange High School band are inviting Concert & Symphonic band members to join them for a fun night of football. If you are interested make sure to fill out the permission slip.
- Where: LaGrange H.S stadium
- When: call time is 5:15PM
- Students will be released to their guardians at 1/2 time between 8:30-8:45PM
- Chaperones can come to the game for free!

TE Tuner App
In band, we use an app called TE Tuner (Tonal Energy). This is a metronome & tuner that is VERY helpful during at-home practice.
We always encourage students to practice with a metronome at home. It helps develop healthy practice habits and builds their internal sense of pulse. We use this often in class and sectionals. The cost is $6.99, and it is well worth it in the long run!
Practice Reports
Practice report due Tuesday September 29th.
Practice reports can be turned in on Monday and Tuesday this week for full credit and Wednesday for late credit. We will not accept practice reports on Thursday or Friday. Please sign your child's report on Sunday night!

Fall Scale challenge!
Symphonic & Concert Band members only!
Students will receive the scale challenge project in class this week! We will be working over the next 8 weeks to meet our fall objective of passing off our scales. The due date for completion of this challenge will be Friday November 20th.

Sectionals (Symphonic band only)
We will start our regular sectional schedule this week.
Sectionals are required for Symphonic band members only from 3:10-4pm. Please have your child picked up by the gym at 4pm. Due to our in service Friday, we will have to reschedule Friday sectional to Thursday sectional.
