We hope that all of our Madison Family had a restful and relaxing break! As a reminder, school resumes tomorrow. We look forward to getting back into our daily routines and are excited to welcome back all of our students. Taking a couple of weeks off is great for a reset, but it also can throw off the routines that were established in the fall. Below are some great tips tp help your student transition back into school mode.

The Lenawee County Parent Advisory Committee is once again recognizing individuals within our schools that are champions of Inclusion. Madison has so many of these individuals. Every building has people day in and day out that just embody being a Champion of Inclusion for our students.

Inclusion is about including and accommodating students with differences. It means supporting an environment where every child feels valued, respected, and safe. This could be a general education teacher, school counselor, administrator, office assistants, cafeteria staff, custodians, etc..

The first Fun Friday of the second trimester will take place on Friday, January 16th. Targeted behaviors will be tracked from Monday, January 5th through Thursday, January 15th (9 days).

• Being Prepared for class. (2 times in a class with missing material = disqualification)

• Referrals (1 major = disqualification, 2 minors cumulative = disqualification)

7th grade:

• Being Prepared for class. (1 time in a class with missing material = disqualification)

• Referrals (1 major/minor = disqualification)

8th grade

• Being Prepared for class. (1 time in a class with missing material = disqualification)

This year both new and returning students/families will complete student registration via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. This can be done for returning families via the Parent Portal app or by using the link that follows https://www.infinitecampus.com/login

The purpose of this process is to ensure that our records are updated with correct addresses/phone numbers. This process will also eliminate the large number of paper forms that parents are asked to complete at the start of each school year!

Parents who do not have an active Parent Portal account in Infinite Campus should us the QR Code or link below to request an activation code.
