Our Janitorial Staff at BCS!
Thank You Seth Rowell and Dustin Owens!
Before we welcome students back for the new school year, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Seth and Dustin for the incredible work they have done throughout the summer. They have spent countless hours cleaning every classroom and hallway, painting, making repairs, moving furniture, setting up learning spaces, and tackling every challenge that came their way. No task was too big or too small, and they always approached their work with professionalism and a positive attitude.
Their flexibility, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond have made a tremendous difference in preparing our school for another successful year. Thanks to their hard work, Brownington Central Middle School looks clean, welcoming, and ready for students and staff. We are incredibly grateful for everything they do behind the scenes to make our school a place we can all be proud of. Thank you, Seth and Dustin, for helping make BCS shine!

Our Technology Experts!
Thank You Jeff Coburn, Bob DeRoehn and Nate Lussier
The countless hours they dedicated this summer to preparing all of our technology for the new school year. From setting up student devices and staff computers to troubleshooting issues, updating systems, and making sure everything is ready to go on day one, their hard work often happens behind the scenes but has a tremendous impact on our school. We are incredibly fortunate to have a technology team with such extensive knowledge, expertise, and commitment. Their willingness to solve problems and support both students and staff ensures we can begin the school year ready to teach, learn, and connect. Thank you, Jeff, Bob, and Nate, for everything you do for Brownington Central Middle School!
Administrative Assistant
Thank You Jessica Burdick!
A very special thank you goes to Jessica, my administrative assistant, whose hard work behind the scenes helps make the start of every school year possible. Throughout the summer, she has been busy coordinating countless details, organizing schedules, preparing paperwork, communicating with families and staff, and ensuring that everything is in place long before students and teachers walk through our doors. Many of these important tasks often go unnoticed, but they are essential to a smooth and successful opening of school. Jessica is truly a superstar, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her dedication, organization, and positive spirit at Brownington Central Middle School. Thank you, Jessica, for everything you do to support our students, staff, and families...we appreciate you more than words can say!

OCSU Middle School Handbook
We are asking that NO squishy toys come into BCS this year!
This Means:
This year, we are asking students to leave squishy sensory toys and other fad items (such as NeeDohs and similar toys) at home. While these items can be fun, they often become a distraction during learning, are frequently traded or argued over, and can take students' attention away from class. Our goal is to create a focused learning environment where students can fully engage in their learning. We appreciate your support by helping your child keep these items at home.
