January Newsletter

A Message from Dr. Cassidy
Hello Red Devil Family,
As we move into the second semester, I want to take a moment to celebrate the many wins happening every day at Liberty Middle School. We have a great deal to be proud of. We are seeing improvements in test scores, stronger attendance, and more positive student behavior across our campus. These are meaningful indicators that LMS is continuing to move in the right direction.
As exciting as these wins are, they still don’t fully capture the effort taking place behind the scenes each and every day. They don’t show the perseverance of students who continue to push themselves, even when learning feels challenging. They don’t fully reflect the dedication of our teachers who plan, reteach, encourage, and support students daily. And they don’t always highlight the work of our staff members who help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment for all students.
None of this progress happens in isolation. One of the most important reasons we are seeing growth at LMS is the strong partnership between our school and our families. When parents and schools work together—supporting learning at home, encouraging good attendance, reinforcing expectations, and communicating openly—students benefit. Your involvement, encouragement, and belief in your child make a powerful difference.
Growth is happening because of consistent effort, strong relationships, and a shared commitment to student success. Progress isn’t always captured in a single score or data point, but it is happening day by day, interaction by interaction.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Together, we will continue to build on these wins and keep moving forward for the benefit of every one of our students.
Imagine the possibilities. Believe in your potential. Achieve Greatness.
