On Tuesday, April 21st, from 6-7 PM, the fifth grade class will be presenting its annual Spring Concert.

Our fifth graders will be presenting a selection of four works from West Africa and the Caribbean that feature select students from each class on percussion.

They have been steadily building their world percussion skills this past year and are excited to perform for their families!

The Spring Scholastic Book Fair will be held May 4th - 8th in the Glacier Ridge Library!

Gear up for Summer Reading!!! Students will have the opportunity to buy books from May 4th - 8th during their library class period. Book fair will be open to families to shop during school hours (9:15am-3:15pm).

Cash, ewallets, and checks (made payable to Dublin Library Association) are accepted. Tax will be charged.

Kindergarten registration for Dublin City Schools is open for families planning to enroll a child in kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year. For Dublin City Schools, the first day of school for the 2026–2027 school year is August 20, 2026. Children who turn five on or before that date are eligible to begin kindergarten.

How to Register

Families can complete kindergarten registration online through the Dublin City Schools enrollment website. Families are encouraged to thoroughly review the enrollment information on that page before beginning the process. Enrollment is completed online, and families should allow plenty of time for the Enrollment Office to process applications. The closer registration occurs to the start of the school year, the longer the processing times may be.

To enroll in Dublin City Schools, families must be district residents.

For currently-enrolled Dublin City Schools Preschool students: Families will receive direct communication with next steps and important information related to kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year. Families are asked to wait for these instructions before taking action.

Kindergarten Information Nights- Save the Date!

Glacier Ridge will host a Kindergarten Information Night on April 30, 2026 from 6:00-7:00 PM. During this event, we will share details about preparing for kindergarten, what families can expect during the school year, opportunities for involvement, and additional building-specific information.

5th Grade Strings: Enrollment Now Open for 2026-27

Dublin City Schools is pleased to offer an optional beginning strings program for rising 5th-grade students. Interested current 4th grade families (from any elementary school) are encouraged to attend either of the Strings Information Nights:

Make a Difference in Dublin

The Dublin Chamber’s Community Service Day is Saturday, May 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will support local seniors, residents in need, Dublin City Schools and nonprofit organizations through outdoor spring clean-up projects. It’s a great opportunity for students and families to give back together while making a visible impact in the community. All ages are welcome (students must be accompanied by an adult), and lunch will be provided. Register here.
