Middle School Grant Opportunity Middle School Grant Opportunity

The Peter R. Marsh Foundation’s $1250 Middle School Music Grant is available between July 1st and January 31st annually. The purpose of the Grant is to provide a remarkable experience for students where their emotional senses are awakened, and they are inspired to advance musically, scholastically, and socially. Grants are available to public middle school music teachers in the United States for the acquisition of in-school music classroom equipment and supplies to benefit current and future students, with additional funding available for student transportation to senior facilities.

The Grantee and their middle school music students are to provide three musical performances at senior facilities in their local or nearby communities during the school year. Each engagement includes time for meaningful student/senior visitation.

See the Foundation’s website for complete Guidelines, Conditions, and Reviews from past participants. Numerous testimonials shared by teachers may be found on the Foundation’s Facebook page.

NFHS Survey NFHS Survey

This Music Educator Satisfaction Survey is being conducted by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) to measure trends in educator satisfaction and to understand the impact of (or need for) specific interventions in retention and advocacy. With over 3,000 responses every year, we need your help to ensure that we have feedback from every area of the country! If you have taken this survey in the past, please complete it again. With multiple years of data, the NFHS can begin to track and interpret trends and impacts of interventions to build more complete resources for you. The survey should only take a few minutes to complete and includes sections on:

  • Why you became an educator
  • Your satisfaction as an educator
  • The future of your program
  • Basic demographic information

The survey link can be found here: Music Educator Satisfaction Survey

If you’d like to see survey results on a national or state-specific dashboard, please click here.

Where Are They Now? Where Are They Now?

This is a chance to celebrate their accomplishments, inspire current students, and showcase their achievements. Submit their name using the link below and help us share their story with our All-State community.
