We’ve had a wonderful start to the school year, and September is already full of learning, growth, and celebrations. Thank you for partnering with us to make this year a great one!

Please read through this newsletter carefully and take note our communication platform is changing to parent square (more information below).

We also have a break, great events and a lot of important school reminders!

Stay connected!

School starts @ 8:00! Students need to be in their seat by 8:00. Please make sure you are on time so your students aren't missing out on instruction. Our gates for breakfast open at 7:30.

You can easily share a message with our attendance assistant easily through parent square.

You can upload any doctors notes to parent square or email alejandraperez@antiochschools.net.

Please note the times for TK dismissal, they have been adjusted by 5 minutes.

Please remind your students:

There are no toys, play equipment, purses, fanny packs, or small backpacks allowed.

Cellphones must stay on silent in backpacks until they leave campus. They are not allowed to use their phones on campus. You may contact the office if you need to speak with your student.

We also ask that no fast food be brought to school. You are welcome to drop off a home made lunch for your student if needed. All students have access to free breakfast and lunches.

Birthday Celebrations- NO FOOD ITEMS. You may bring goody bags with small school supplies/ toys. They will be handed out at the end of the day to take home.

From September 15 – October 15, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month! This is a time to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans. Our classrooms will be sharing stories, music, art, and activities that reflect the richness of these traditions. We encourage families to continue the celebration at home by exploring books, music, and cultural events together.

We invite all to participate in our school spirit days on Wednesdays during this month.

Additionally, Danza Azteca will be performing for our students Monday September 15th and for our Multicultural Potluck on October 15th. Please see the flyers for more information.
