Kohlberg Elementary Newletter
Week of 1-6-25
Welcome back Coyotes! As we begin the 2025 school year, I am excited about the educational challenges that await us in the second semester. I am confident that you will continue to support us in our efforts to make Kohlberg the best it can be.
The holiday celebrations for the students and the parents were both a success. I cannot express how grateful I am. It was a fantastic turnout. I personally want to thank you all for your ongoing support of your child and our school community. I ask that you continue to be involved and active in your child's education. Remember that we can all make a difference if we work together!

New Year, New Goals!
Happy 2025, Kohlberg Coyote families!
I hope that you all had a great break and enjoyed lots of family time, rest, and relaxation. Now it is time for us to get back into the "swing of things" and refocus our energies and set goals for the rest of the year.
A new year offers a fresh start to reflect on how much we have learned so far and look forward to all that we have yet to achieve.
This month, our word of the month is RESILIENCE--Getting back up when something gets you down. We will continue to focus on having a growth mindset, learning from our mistakes, and giving our best effort.
It is so important for students to know that mistakes are a part of learning. Resilience will help our students to bounce back when they hit a bump in the road and know that their efforts WILL pay off.
Here is a video that you may want to watch with your child and discuss!
