Around the Halls
Our Physical Science students are diving into the physics of roller coasters! From gravity and energy to speed and force, they’re discovering how science makes the thrills possible. Learning has never been more exciting!
On Tuesday, our freshmen had the opportunity to visit Northern Kentucky University for a college tour! It was a great experience exploring campus, learning about programs, and getting a glimpse of what the future can hold.
Students in Advanced Consumer Science got creative with polymer clay, designing and crafting their own unique jewelry pieces!
A huge thank you to Dawn Paul from Ben Franklin 5 & 10 for visiting our classroom, sharing her expertise, and generously donating all of the materials so students could make as many pieces as they wanted.
Tuesday was one for the books! Our seniors kicked off the day with dining together and then heading to Perfect North Slopes for some snow tubing fun.
Our Middle School Gifted students had an incredible time at their gifted competition over the weekend!
They represented our school with confidence, creativity, and teamwork every step of the way. We are so proud of their hard work and the way they supported one another throughout the competition. 💡✨
Big news for our 6th grade Buzz In Banaza team! 🎉🐝
They’ve officially qualified to compete at the state level! 🏆👏
Shoutout to Mrs. Minning! She earned the “Spirit” Award for bringing 5 teams and managing them all like a champ! 🙌 We’re so lucky to have her! 💙
Huge shoutout to our incredible middle school gifted team! 🎉
The 7th grade Glizzy Gladiators brought their A-game and took 3rd place, earning their spot at the State Competition! 🏆🔥
Today, our Junior Seminar students visited the Newport Aquarium to explore the wide range of careers within a large-scale aquarium setting. They learned how many professionals work together behind the scenes to keep the facility running smoothly.
Students were introduced to roles such as Water Chemists, Filtration Engineers, divers, veterinarians, educators, graphic designers, and customer service staff. The experience highlighted both STEM and non-STEM career paths and helped broaden students’ understanding of the many opportunities available in this unique field.
Ceramic students had the opportunity to sign up and spend the week trying to learn how to make pottery on the potters wheel!
