From the Principal's Desk
Hello Trojan Families,
Happy Belated Grandparents Day!
We hope everyone is able to enjoy some of the nicer weather we have ahead of us and are ready to jump into the next week. We will communicate via text and email if we need to make any adjustments due to weather for our dismissal of walkers and car riders.
This week we will be playing Plummer at our Football games at Smith Stadium. Our volleyball team is taking on Garcia at Garcia. Our theater students are working hard in preparation for their version of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. The Trojan Band is preparing for Region Band Tryouts. We hope you will be able to join us in cheering on our Trojans in all of our fall programs. Our campus has been encouraging our students to remember to display P.R.I.D.E. traits when they attend any Aldine ISD event to cheer on their fellow students. We are so proud of our students and all of the work they are putting into these programs this year.
We care about our students safety and mental well-being. Please be sure to monitor your child’s social media accounts on a regular basis to encourage healthy and positive relationships. We are aware of the Tik Tok Challenge that encourages students to destroy or vandalize school restrooms. I encourage you to discuss the consequences of this behavior found in the Aldine ISD Student Code of Conduct under vandalism and theft. We have updated our camera system and are monitoring restrooms for this behavior.
This newsletter contains information about some academic events we have going on on campus, picture day information and chromebook distribution.
We hope that everyone has a wonderful afternoon and as always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to our staff.
