Andover Trojan Elementary Band

Our three band directors teach more 650+ students a day in 16 classrooms at Andover High School, Andover Middle School, Cottonwood, Wheatland, and Martin Elementary Schools.

We will answer emails as quickly as possible but please understand that it could be a few days if we have a high school or middle school band performance/competition occurring at the same time.

If your child has been absent from school and has not had an opportunity to try a mouthpiece for an instrument they are interested in or were absent on Thursday, September 2nd when students gave us a preliminary first choice instrument.

We hope to meet with all parents of students opting-in for band instruction this fall on Thursday, September 9th in the Andover High School auditorium. If you have not been inside the new high school yet, please enter the school through the doors located behind the flagpoles. The auditorium doors are located straight in front of you as you proceed into the commons.

We will host three 20-minute identical information meetings beginning at 6:00, 6:30, and 7;00 pm in the auditorium. You are welcome to attend the one that best fits your evening plans.

In addition, there will be representatives from three local music stores: Music Scene (Andover), Senseney Music (Wichita), and Wichita Band Instrument Company (Wichita) should you be looking to rent or purchase a beginning band instrument.
