Hawk Happenings
September 2026
Dear Spring Lake Families,
Our Character Trait for September is: Belonging
Feeling safe, included, and valued at school.
Welcome to our September edition of our school newsletter. This year's theme is "Growing Together." Like plants in a garden, each person has different strengths and needs. With encouragement, patience, and the right support, everyone can grow!
We have some exciting events planned for this fall. Please take a moment to read through the following newsletter:

TRANSPORTATION & SAFETY:
Ensuring the safety of our students during pick-up and drop-off times is a top priority. Here are some steps to help improve safety and efficiency.
- Stay in Your Vehicle: Drivers are required to remain in their vehicles when in the pick-up/drop-off zones. Please pull completely forward to allow other cars to pull in behind you. If you need to exit your vehicle for any reason, kindly park in a designated parking stall.
- Avoid Blocking the Bus Lane: It's important to keep the bus lanes clear at all times during pick-up and drop-off. This ensures that our buses can operate on schedule and safely transport students.
- Proceed with Caution: As you approach, enter, and depart from our school's parking lots, please proceed with caution. Drive slowly and be vigilant, watching for children who may be crossing or walking nearby.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in making Spring Lake a wonderful and inspiring place to be.
Warm regards,
Mrs. Coral Lee Findlay
