REMOTE LEARNING

Remote Learning Days are set aside for all students to learn from home. This is a great opportunity for your child to make up any missed assignments. All students will learn from home through Schoology. There will be no Google Meet Live Sessions. Our next upcoming Remote Learning Day is Friday, January 29th.

HOME ACCESS CENTER

DO YOU HAVE A HOME ACCESS ACCOUNT? HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR CHILD'S GRADES LATELY? We are coming to the end of the 3 week grading period and by now your child should have 6 daily grades and an upcoming major assessment grade. To avoid possible grade failure and retention, it is important that you frequently check your child's grades via the HAC. Progress reports will be available on HAC on the afternoon of Feb. 3rd. If you do not have a HAC account, please visit our campus Dojo to get the link. (HomeAccessCenter@aldineisd.org).

Third Week Grading Cycle

As we come to the end of the three week grading cycle, all students should have taken District Assessments. It is very important that your child log into their teachers Google Meet Live sessions to get instructions and learning to support success on these assessments. Teachers are now conducting re-teach and re-assessments for students who missed or did not perform well on the original assessment. So again, it is very important that you log into your teacher's Google Meet Live Sessions. Class begins at 7:35am!

It is as equally important for your child to log into their teacher's Google Meet live sessions as it is for them to complete their assignments in Schoology. The two go hand in hand, we can't be successful with just one. Therefore, even if your child is submitting their assignments in Schoology, they are still getting behind in classroom instruction if they do not log into their teacher's Google Meet link.
