The Otter Overview

Brrrr!! It defiintely feels like winter outside today! Please double check that your Otter has a coat and that it's labeled with their first and last name. We go outside as often as possible and our recesses can be a little chlily this time of year. If you need a warm coat or any help with winter supplies, please contact our counselors:

Our students are continuing to earn Golden Tickets for our winter drawings! We have two opportunities that they're working towards right now. 🎫

First, we have limited seats at the Champions for Kids event happening on Saturday, December 13th. This event includes dinner and prizes! We will draw for lucky winners this Friday, December 5th and Mrs. Lisenbee will call parents of those lucky students.

Second, we have toys and prize donations from our Champions for Kids partners, Sams Club Bentonville and the Walmart Food Team! We will draw golden ticket winners for these prizes December 8th - 19th.

We are so blessed to participate in this Champions for Kids event this year! We will have more exciting news related to this partnership in the spring.

We have a new attendance leader for the month of November!

Great job SECOND GRADE!!!!!!! You guys did an exceptional job this month and beat everyone else by a wide margin!!!

Our current daily attendance rates for November were:

Kindergarten: 93.49%

1st Grade: 92.09%

2nd Grade: 95.45% 🥇

3rd Grade: 93.14%

4th Grade: 91.91%

⏰Thank you for ensuring your student is on time each day for learning. Every minute matters and we work hard to maximize our time together. Our doors open at 7:25, students begin their day with teachers at 7:45, and the tardy bell rings at 7:50. We begin our learning promptly at 7:50 each day.

Our PTO is hosting a holiday shop again this year, December 8-12! It was a tremendous success last year and we appreciate them so much!

Otter Wonderland is coming up on December 9th from 4:00-5:30 pm, follwed directly by our 1st grade musical performance at 6:00 pm. We hope to see you there for a fun night of learning and laughing together!

Winter parties are Friday, December 19th!

Kindergarten: 11:20-11:50

1st Grade: 11:50-12:20

2nd Grade: 12:20-12:50

3rd Grade: 12:50-1:20

4th Grade: 1:20-1:50

Please remember that all adults must check in through the front office before attending a party. Non school age siblings may attend as long as they do not cause a disruption and do not partake of the snacks and crafts since supplies are purchased for the designated number of Osage Creek students. Thanks for your help!

Starting October 1, 2025, you can fill out your application online. You will also upload pictures of the documents (ID and proof of income). If you anticipate needing Christmas assistance please go to https://sharingandcaringkids.com/christmasassistance/ and fill out the application and upload the required documentation.
