Weekly Message Weekly Message

Good evening Beverly Hills Middle School Families,

We are quickly coming into October and the school year is in full swing now. October brings some exciting times as we look forward to our PBIS Rewards Day and out Fall Fling Dance. We have also begun our athletics competitions and encourage you and your students to come on out and cheer on the ROYALS! If you have not done so already, please login to Home Access Center (HAC) and check on your student's progress.

Equipping families with strategies to support children experiencing anxiety and barriers to regular school attendance

On October 19, 2026, Dr. Katherine Dahlsgaard will be speaking to our families concerning supporting children who are experiencing anxiety and school avoidance behaviors. The event is taking place at Beverly Hill Middle School. We will have dinner for our families starting at 5:30 PM. Dr. Dahlsgaard’s presentation will begin at 6:30 PM. If you know someone who is struggling in these areas, you will definitely learn strategies that will help. This event is open to all Upper Darby School District families. If you would like to learn more about our speaker, please visit https://www.katherinedahlsgaard.com/about.

Speak Up!

Attention, BHMS students! Do you want a say in the conversations that matter to you? Then join the SpeakUp! Student Leadership Team!

SpeakUp! creates a safe space for open, honest conversations with caring adults who want to listen. As a student leader, you'll help choose the topics that matter most, like stress, relationships, and social media, and help plan our school's SpeakUp! event. You'll build leadership skills and help make sure everyone feels heard.

The first meeting is this Tuesday, right after school in Room 130. Just show up. Bring a friend, bring your ideas, and come be a voice for our school. SpeakUp! Please see Mrs. Cocco in room 130 or Ms. Peterson in room 227A with any questions.

BHMS Parent Forum Information

We’re looking ahead to our Parent Forum nights for this school year and we want to make sure it’s as meaningful and helpful for you as possible! To help us plan an event that meets the needs and interests of our families, we’re asking you to take a moment to complete a very brief survey. Your feedback will directly guide the topics, activities, and resources we include in parent forums. Please click the link below to share your thoughts: BHMS Family Survey 2027
