The Barton School Scoop

In celebration of The Week of Respect we focused on the importance of creating a safe school community that encourages respect for all! We started the class discussion off in morning meeting with the question: What does respect mean to you?

The Scholastic Book fair was a great success this week at Barton. On Monday evening our PTA is hosting an evening family book fair night from 5:00pm-8:00pm. We hope to see many families there!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

For the safety of our students and drivers, large musical instruments that are too large to be transported on school buses are not permitted. This applies to cellos, percussion instruments, and trombones. If you have questions regarding the District safety procedure regarding transporting musical instruments, information can be found on the Transportation page of the District website, www.chclc.org. Please speak with your child’s instrumental music teacher if alternate arrangements need to be made.
