BOBCAT BRIEFS

It has been a beautiful start to April. We have had some amazing weather, and watching the eclipse with our students made my day. The Band & Treble Makers Concert was also really good! Our Bobcat musicians were rockstars!

We do have a lot of upcoming events over the next 2 months. I have attached the list. I have tried to make sure it has everything on there, but there may be other things that come up.

Information about summer school went out earlier this week. Please sign your kiddos up as soon as possible so we can finish up planning.

The Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) testing for students at Lonedell R-14 School District will take place during April and early May. MAP tests are mandated by the state, and are intended to help determine what a child knows and is able to do according to the expectations for his or her grade level. Scores on the MAP tests are also used to determine how schools are performing according to state and federal guidelines.

Please check the attachments for more information and exact dates and times for your student/s.

What can you do to help you student/s succeed on these tests?

1. Attend - Make sure your child is in school on the testing dates.
2. Rest - Have your child get a good night's sleep.
3. Nutrition - Give your child a healthy breakfast to start the day.
