Dear Pike Central Families, Friends, and Alumni,

On Friday, May 29, 2026, the Pike Central community gathered to celebrate a monumental milestone: the commencement ceremony for the incredible Class of 2026. It was a beautiful evening filled with pride, reflection, and excitement for the future.

Celebrating the Class of 2026

This year, we proudly watched 92 outstanding students walk across the floor to receive their diplomas. The ceremony was a wonderful tribute to their hard work, resilience, and dedication over the past four years.

The evening was beautifully set to music, thanks to a fantastic performances by Mr. Bunker and the PCHS Band, as well as moving vocal selections from our talented Swing Choir, led by Mrs. Melissa Traylor.

Words of Wisdom & Inspiration

We were treated to exceptional addresses from our student leaders and administration, each sharing meaningful messages for the departing seniors:

Valedictorian Address: Heidi Woodford delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on academic dedication and the bright future ahead.
Salutatorian Address: Emma Brock shared thoughtful words on the journey through high school and the bonds formed along the way.
Senior Address: Emily McGillem captivated the audience with a heartfelt look back at the shared experiences of the Class of 2026.
Principal's Address: Mr. Couchenour delivered a uniquely personal speech, taking the time to highlight special moments from the school year and giving a well-deserved shout-out to each and every individual senior student!

The Final Milestone

The culmination of the evening was the official Presentation of Diplomas by Dr. Suzanne Blake. As names were read and caps were tossed, the Class of 2026 officially closed their chapter as students and stepped forward as PCHS alumni.

To our parents, guardians, teachers, and community members—thank you for your unwavering support of these students throughout their educational journeys.

To the Pike Central Class of 2026: You have left an indelible mark on our school. We are incredibly proud of who you are and who you are becoming. As you scatter to colleges, trade schools, the military, and the workforce, remember where your roots are.
