Mini Marching Camp
Our Mini Marching Camp Camp is May 27th-29th from 9 am-4 pm at DHS. This is required for all students participating in band or color guard during the 2025-2026 school year. We will be using attendance from this camp to decide how many spots to write in next year's marching show. Please bring water, snacks, lunch, and your instrument. We will have school owned instruments available. Students winds and percussion need to wear tennis shoes, a plain white tshirt, and athletic shorts. All color guard need to wear black shirts and athletic shorts.
All students need to arrive at 8:30 am on Tuesday if you need a school owned instrument. We will all start together with a student meeting at 9 am in the band hall. We recommend that you plan to arrive by 8:45 so you can find where you need to go.
We will tell our drill writer how many spots to write in the show based on attendance at Mini Camp. Please communicate with us if you have a conflict with Mini Camp.
Parent Preview Performance and Meeting
There is a Parent Preview Performance and Meeting on May 29th at 6:30 pm in the DHS Competition Gym. Call time for students for this performance is 6 pm. All winds and percussionists will wear a plain white tshirt and athletic shorts. This meeting is for new and returning students and parents. We will be announcing next year's in-state trip, our new assistant band director, and focusing on new information.
Band Registration Information
The Fair Share Fee for the 2025-2026 school year will be $500. Siblings will be half price. Last year we fed the students over 20 times and used the majority of the fee to pay for food. Thanks to the support of our Booster Club, we are able to have a fair share fee that is hundreds of dollars less than programs in our area that we compete against. This fee is due on May 31st at band registration for the 2025 marching season. Payment plans are available. Please talk with Mr. Lehmann if you have a concern regarding the fee.

New Required Item for all band members: Backpack
If you have previously purchased a duffel bag from TMF, you may use that instead of purchasing a backpack. If you do not already have a duffel bag from TMF, you will be required to purchase a backpack. Color guard members will continue to use the color guard backpack. Please contact Mr. Lehmann if you have any questions about the band backpack.
Water Jug Clarification
All students will be required to have a Wolf Band Water Jug for the 2025 season. If your student still has theirs, then they may use their jug from last year.
Students new to DHS Band will receive a water jug as part of their fair share fee, and will not need to pay additional money for the water jug. Students who lost their jug will need to purchase a water jug from the TMF website. Please contact Mr. Lehmann if you have any questions about the Wolf Band Water Jug.
TMF Webstore
Here is the link to the TMF Webstore. Please email me if you have any questions about the TMF Webstore. It looks like shopping carts are currently disabled, but may open Tuesday once I have had an opportunity to get in touch with company representatives.
