Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we reflect on December and look ahead to January, I want to take a moment to share our gratitude and excitement for what’s to come.

Thank You for a Wonderful Winter Arts Night!
A huge thank you to all the families who attended our Winter Arts Night and stopped by our first Book Fair of the year with Mrs. St.Jean! It was a wonderful evening, showcasing the incredible talents of our students. Special recognition goes to Mr. Wade Johnston, our incredibly talented music teacher, and the students who performed beautifully in band and chorus. We’d also like to thank Mrs. Williams for the stunning artwork displayed throughout our school—it’s inspiring to see the creativity of our students celebrated so prominently!

Winter Sports Update
Basketball season is off to an exciting start! Our girls’ team is currently undefeated—go Raiders! We’re proud of all our athletes who continue to represent OHMS with pride and teamwork. Let’s keep cheering them on as they showcase their skills this season!

Weather-Related Schedules
With winter weather upon us, please review our remote and two-hour delay schedules, which are included below for your reference.

We also encourage your involvement, whether through volunteering, chaperoning, or joining your student for lunch. If you’re interested, please complete a volunteer packet. You can find more information here: Volunteer Information.

As always, we are grateful for your ongoing support and commitment to creating a positive environment here at OHMS. The growth we’ve seen in our Raiders so far this year is remarkable, and we are eager to see what the rest of the new year will bring.

We hope you had a restful holiday break and look forward to continuing this journey together.

Sincerely,
