πŸ‘‹ Hello Parents and Guardians!

Happy Tuesday! I apologize for the slight delay in getting this week's newsletter to you. I wanted to ensure our clubs and intramurals information was fully updated on the website before sending it out. I'm pleased to announce that the site is now current, complete with an electronic interest form for students to indicate which activities they'd like to join. Please check it out!

It was a pleasure meeting many of you last Thursday at our Curriculum Night. We had an incredible turnout and was so nice inviting you into our space! Along with that, you were a fabulous addition to our first bake sale of the year! What a SUCCESS!

On behalf of the Nichols team, I'd like to extend our sincere gratitude to our exceptional PTA for their generous support. They've funded the attendance of several of our math teachers at the upcoming National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) conference, an opportunity that will enhance our educators' skills and bring valuable knowledge back to our classrooms, ultimately benefiting our students' learning experience.

KEY REMINDERS:

- Bell to bell, No Cell! (Cell phones should not be seen from 8:00am-3:05pm

- Students should be traveling with their binders and iPads everywhere they go!

- Nurse Evan will no longer be providing water cups outside of medical reasons. Please encourage your scholars to bring a water bottle to school with them.

We are looking forward to the week ahead. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out!

Best,

Ms. Ernvall

Hispanic Heritage Month Hispanic Heritage Month

Join us in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15! This month-long observance honors the rich cultures, contributions, and histories of Americans with ancestry from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. At our school, we're excited to recognize the diverse Hispanic and Latino backgrounds represented in our community.

Throughout the month, students will engage in special activities, lessons, and events that highlight Hispanic achievements in literature, arts, sciences, and more. We encourage families to share their heritage and traditions with us. Look out for announcements about our upcoming Hispanic Heritage assembly, multicultural food fair, and guest speakers from our local Hispanic community.

Let's come together to appreciate the vibrant tapestry of Hispanic cultures that enrich our school and nation. Β‘Celebremos juntos!

Great news!

Our school website has been refreshed with the latest information on clubs, intramurals, and sports. We've streamlined the process to make it easier for students to get involved in activities they're passionate about.

The updated section now includes a convenient student interest form that doubles as a sign-up sheet for each activity. This new feature allows students to easily indicate which clubs, intramurals, or sports teams they'd like to join, all in one place.

We encourage all students and parents to explore these exciting opportunities. To check out the new updates and access the interest forms, visit our school website at:
