"Preparing students for success in an ever-changing world."
Hello Mustang Nation,
Welcome back from February Break. After all the snowy and bitter weather I hope you have all enjoyed the last few days of relative warmth. Our custodial crews have been working throughout the week to prepare the building for our return and we thank them for their ongoing efforts to keep our daily operations running as smoothly as possible.
It is hard to believe we have made it here already, however, School Counselors will be visiting students during English classes starting on Tuesday, Feb. 25 and extending through Friday, Feb 28 to start the course selection process for the 2025-2026 school year.
Friday, February 28 is the deadline for applications to SRTC - make you sure you make the cutoff if you are interested in SRTC programming in the coming school year!
As a reminder, our upcoming week will follow the Green/White color rotation schedule below:
Monday 02/24- WHITE
Tuesday 02/25 - GREEN
Wednesday 02/26 - WHITE

WINTER ILLNESS - HELP STOP THE SPREAD!
Winter illnesses are upon us! As a reminder, your child must be kept home for 24 hours from the last episode of vomiting and/or diarrhea and must be 24 hours fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medication (IE: Tylenol or Ibuprofen). This is VERY important especially this time of year where illnesses are spreading like wildfire and it is RSU 57 district policy. Your child will be sent home if it is reported to the Nurse or found that they are outside of these parameters or are at school ill. If you have any questions regarding whether your child should return to school or stay home, please do not hesitate to reach out to Nurse Kayla!
MHS THEATER PRODUCTION!!!
"A Clown's Tale” follows the journey of Alfie, a foundling adopted by the enigmatic Ringmaster, Madame Claudette, into the vibrant world of a traveling circus in 1925. Though cursed by deformity, Alfie finds acceptance among this band of misfits, captivating audiences as the beloved headliner clown. Twenty years pass, and the circus welcomes a new arrival—Nedda, a runaway seeking refuge from her past. As their lives intertwine, the story unfolds with moments of joy and heartbreak, offering a poignant glimpse into the bonds of circus performers and the lasting impact of the choices we make. At its heart, this is a tale of resilience, belonging, and the unbreakable strength of family.
(The play is a drama with some violence and may not be suitable for young children)
