The Giving Season...
We know money is tight right now and the holidays bring even more need,
but if you are looking for a meaningful way to give this season,
we are holding a school lunch balance drive through the end of the year.
Your dollars and cents will not go to waste.
%100 will go to supporting families by lightening the load of school lunch debt.
We of course accept donations throughout the whole school year,
and we can take cash or check in the office at any time. ❤️
Thank you for supporting our East school community in all ways, big and small.
Introducing = CUBBY!
Thanks to our students for voting for a mascot name and welcome to the team, Cubby. :)

What Going on with the GT Cubs Crew?
Mr. Malloy meets with students each week to learn about a variety of topics and ideas.
Check in on their projects at the link below...
Counselor's Corner
This week’s counseling lessons will focus on problem solving/conflict resolution.
Weekly classroom lessons build on previous lessons where we learned to identify emotions, pause and breathe to get calm, then learn helpful ways to solve our problems. You may hear children talking about the “Time Machine” and using their “big voice”.
Parent Tip - AWARENESS
Be aware of your own inner state with your children. Is your heart rate elevated? Are you feeling tense or frustrated? Children can FEEL our upset, so the next step is BREATHE DEEPLY and bring yourself back to the present moment.
Parent Night - Ms. Kelcie’s first pizza with parents was a success! Be on the lookout for the next parent event in December.
Wishing you well,
Ms. Jennifer, East Elementary School Counselor

Nurse Notes
Be sure to send boots, coats and cold weather items every day.
East Cubs go outside for recess no matter the weather, so help them be prepared.
(We will stay indoors if it is extremely cold/icy/windy.)
On that note...
The nurse's office could use donations of gently used (or new) gloves,
stretchy pants like sweats and leggings in K-3rd grade sizes.
Donations can be dropped off in the front office.
Thank you!
