Message for the Week: Message for the Week:

    Message from Mr. Tejkl

    What is your choice...

    Good morning!

Happy 4th quarter and welcome to the final push until the end of the school year! Where did the time go? We continue to ask for input from our students, our staff, and our patrons on how we can continue to improve on our end and what can we do to make the most of our time? As ideas come in, we reflect on ourselves and continue to see what we can to live by the SRC way; Show-Up, Respectful, Consistency.

I love this quote as we are heading into the fourth quarter. As I self-reflect on what I have done from the beginning of the year to where we are now, there are many things that I wish I could go back and change but that is something that is not possible nor is life supposed to be like that. We live, we learn, and we continue to live by our values and morals. When it comes to finishing strong, what comes to your mind?

What I want to finish strong in is making sure I am giving my best each day knowing that my best may be 100% one day but could follow up with an 83% day. What I want to keep in mind is that it is okay to fall short but knowing I am giving everything I can for my students, my staff, and our patrons. Beyond that, I want to finish strong as a father and a husband. We have done many things great together and I have done good things on my personal side as well.

My point is that resting on our laurels isn't an option. Well, I guess it can be but what is the point of limping through the finish line? WE can continue to excel in our professional and personal journeys while continuing to finishing better tomorrow than how we did today. Keep your values and morales true; and you can not go wrong.

Have a great rest of your Sunday and I will see you on Tuesday!

Quote of the week to reflect on:

"Regardless of what came before or of what has yet to come, what matters most right now is how I choose to respond to the challenge before me. Will I lie Down or will I Fight? The choice is mine and I choose to FINISH STRONG."

    Dan Green

    Sincerely,

    Tucker Tejkl
