Welcome Jet Families!

We hope all of our JETS had a great weekend. Thank you to all who came to our Spring Fling on Friday. It was so much fun, and a great way to end the week. A special thank you to our amazing DJ (see photo below).

This week is a short week, as we have Friday off for Good Friday. Students also have off next Monday, April 6th, as it is a teacher plan and prep day.

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will take their Reading STAAR test on Wednesday, April 8th, 2026. We have some fun things planned this week in preparation for the STAAR test.

We were so close to our Attendance Goal last week. Let's Level Up this week and reach 95%.

Don't forget to see who our "Guess the Staff" was last week. It is at the bottom of the newsletter. Will you guess this week's staff member?

Thank you for your patience at arrival and dismissal. We have a lot of JETS that are car riders and walkers, and safety is our

#1 priority.

In order to make sure that these busy times go smoothly and safely, we want to make sure everyone knows the procedures for arrival and dismissal times.

Doors open for Morning Drop-Off at 6:45 am, through the cafeteria. There is only one lane for parent drop-off in the morning. The lane closest to the curb is the lane for morning drop-off.

DIsmissal is at 2:50 pm, and car riders are dismissed through the cafeteria. There are two lanes for car rider parent pick-up. The two lanes closest to the curb are used for pick up. Please be patient and courteous to each other, as there is only one entrance.

Finally, please make sure that you are not blocking any intersections, walkways, or crossroads. We want everyone to be able to get where they need to go in an orderly and safe manner. Many students walk home and need these spaces to be open and clear. This includes the intersection of Misty Ridge and Frontier Ridge.

Last week's hint was:

When I was in college, I took snow skiing as a college class.

That would be an AMAZING 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Haberman!!!! She went to Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. What a fun class that must have been!!!

Ready for this week's hint?

I have a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

AND

I performed in a musical production of "FAME" at St. Philip's College.

Who am I?
