Dear Parent/Guardians,
Communities in Schools has been helping students achieve in school, graduate, and go onto bright futures for more than 30 years. Our direct service providers say they feel rewarded many times over for the help they provide in making a difference in the lives of the children. Our mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.
My name is Guillermo Barroso, I am the Community in Schools Director in Lebanon Middle School. My role as the Coordinator is to connect community resources and support services into the school to support student success. Through this, Community Schools serve the whole child and the whole family. The school works to meet physical, mental and emotional, and basic needs of students and families so that when students are in the classroom, they can focus on learning.
I am very excited to get to know you and your children. I am available to meet with parents and discuss the needs of students. I want to ensure that your child has a productive and successful year. Please do not hesitate to contact me or stop by to meet face to face. I can be reached by email at gbarroso@lebanon.k-12.pa.us or phone (717) 273-9391 Ext. 2556.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Sincerely,
Guillermo A. Barroso, Med. MSLBE
