A HUGE shout out to families for helping get us have a great start to this new school year. We are glad to have your students back in school with us and are excited to welcome several new students and families. School is a team effort and we are glad to have you all on the Washington Wildcat team.

Join us on Thursday, September 1st at 6:00 pm in the Library for our monthly PTO meeting. Agenda items include Schedule of Events, Treat Sales, Fundraiser and Book Fair. The next PTO meeting will be Thursday, October 6th at 6:00 pm.

On Thursday, September 1st, Officer Johnson will come and talk to all students and staff about our safety procedures during emergency situations. He will review our Standard Response Protocol and answer any questions students have. Thinking about possible emergency situations can be scary for some students. Please visit with your students about the assembly.

If you are interested, there are 2 ways you can help us earn money for Washington through Casey's Rewards. First, you can sign yourself up for Casey's Rewards, earning points at the pump or in the store. You can then donate your points to Washington Elementary, which can then be turned into cash. If you don't not want to create your own account, you can enter the school's phone number 308-535-7142, at the pump or in store to earn points on the school account. Please invite grandmas and grandpas, aunts and uncles to help us earn money by simply buying gas or a soda.

Washington Elementary is a Title I School. All teachers and paraprofessionals meet the professional qualifications as required by Federal Law. Parents have the right to request credentials of staff.
