Great job, Summer!
HCS STAFF COMMITTEES
Yes...there is that old phrase of "Death by Committee".
We have our normal committees that most schools have, but we also have some unique ones as well. As a few examples:
Month of the Military Child: Designed to promote and support our students of military families to feel more welcomed and included at HCS.
Catholic Schools Week: Helps with the planning and preparation of National Catholic Schools Week held annually during the last week of January.
Student Achievement Committee: **BRAND NEW THIS YEAR** ; Created to help recognize students that go beyond just the academic.
THANK YOU TO ALL OF OUR TEACHERS WHO GIVE THEIR EXTRA TIME!
HCS APACHE UPDATE
⚽⚽⚽ 8th Grade Night ⚽⚽⚽
ALSO....FROM COACH ANDERSON ⚽⚽⚽
We are very proud of you, girls!!!
Our season ended last night and while our record reads 0-2, the gains made by these girls provided plenty of victories that we are celebrating!
The girls all exhibited fantastic leadership, teamwork and a growing confidence throughout the year. They demonstrated a resiliency both in games and over the length of a long season that saw us miss out on a full week of games because of heat. Showing up to practice without many games is a feat on its own!
Lastly, they brought energy and an undeniable drive to improve every single day! I’m very proud of all of them and cannot wait to watch their continued growth throughout the year, in and out of sports!
FUNNY FACE - GAME IS ON POINT! 🙃🙃
"FORTE" MEANS LOUDLY!! 😱🎵🔊
Thank you Mrs. Backs for introducing our young students to the fun of music!

CLASSROOM VISITS WITH THE PRINCIPAL'S CART
Giving me a chance to see the great things our teachers are doing!
It has been a real treat for me to get into the classrooms more to see the kids and teachers interacting.
Today, kids received Red, White, & Blue Popsicles
Which meant lots of wrappers, sticks, and wet-wipes!
Red, White, & Blue Clothes
That Red, White, & Blue Spirit!
BOO!! PUT "IT" ON YOUR CALENDARS! 🎃🤡
NO HIGH-FIVES IN THE MORNING ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY NEXT WEEK. 😔
I will be attending a Diocesan Principals' Retreat in St. Louis. In the meantime, I have always asked that pictures that are taken of me show me in a flattering light. I think the picture below does a great job!
