Core Value Champion!
Congratulations Lorelei Wilhoite on Receiving the Core Value Award for Collaboration!
Each month an Everett Public Schools student can be nominated by their teacher who demonstrates the Core Value of the Month. The nominations are sent to Administration where students are selected to be recognized as a Core Value Champion.
Mrs. Hinds nominated Lorelei for exemplifying the Core Value of the Month, Collaboration. Here's what she wrote about Lorelei…
"Lorelei works very well with classmates and consistently shows strong collaboration skills during classroom activities. She enjoys playing math games with peers and is an excellent teammate who shares ideas, practices good turn-taking and supports others patiently. Her calm, patient approach helps create a positive learning environment for everyone."
Congratulations Lorelei!!

Writing Workshop Coming – Monday, March 9
An Invitation from Mrs. Hinds and Mrs. Johnson...
We’re excited to invite Kindergarten parents to our Writing Workshop on Monday, March 9, from 9:20–10:30 a.m. This special event gives you the opportunity to observe your child as a writer in Mrs. Johnson’s Off and Running class.
We’ll begin in Room H102 with Mrs. Hinds to collaborate on writing development in Kindergarten and First Grade, discuss strategies for supporting reluctant writers and answer common questions about early writing.
Once Mrs. Johnson’s class has settled into their routine, we’ll join them in Room H104 to observe their writing time in action. Afterward, we’ll return to H102 for debrief and discussion.
We hope you’ll join us for this engaging workshop. Our goal is to support you in encouraging your young author’s confidence and growing their writing skills.
