Trollwood Weekly

IN THE KNOW

What's Happening at Trollwood

It has been a whirlwind start to June here at Trollwood and everybody is keeping busy! Trollwood Academy, Totally Trollwood Academy, and the Mainstage Musical are all hitting their stride and charging along full steam ahead, plus the first ArtSpark sessions of the summer kicked off last week!

Students are really excelling in Week 2 of Trollwood Academy and Totally Trollwood Academy. They are moving ahead with all of their projects and performances and are already looking forward to sharing everything they've worked on with their peers at Share Days next Thursday and Friday! Trollwood Conservatory kicks off next week for our more advanced students with instructors Dr. Kristin Griffeath and Dr. Robin Griffeath. And Sun Celebration is coming up on July 1.

The cast, crew, and orchestra of Disney's Frozen are working hard towards the goal of putting on the best show possible when they reach opening night on July 20! The mountainous backdrop of Arendelle is starting to take shape on the stage, and the actors and orchestra are learning all of their parts and getting them performance ready.

The summer's first sessions of ArtSpark kicked off last week and the kindergarteners through fifth graders had a great time while learning theatre basics and preparing their shows. There will be another ArtSpark session next week June 22-26 and two sessions in July.
