Rincon Community News #27

Principal Weekly Message
February 14, 2026
Students participated in the American Heart Challenge, diving into the vital lessons of CPR and life-saving practices during lunch. With hands-on demos and expert guidance, students practiced critical skills needed to respond in emergencies
A huge thank you to all that supported this vital learning experience both informative and enjoyable. Let’s continue to spread awareness and empower our community to make the world a better place.
In Cooking and Crafting with Mrs. Feeney, students transformed scraps into stunning treasures just in time for Valentine’s Day! Using colorful strips of material, in a step-by-step process of sewing together unique Valentine Heart Cards.
These one-of-a-kind creations are not just a testament to creativity but also a perfect way to spread love and joy! This is just one of our many electives classes where student unleash their creativity and discover what is possible.
I close with a reminder to have your student check our lost and found bin. It is bursting with student items. The bin and racks have been moved to the front of the school for easy access.
Thank you once again for your continued support. Together, we can make this a fantastic year for our students! Together we are better in setting up our Bulldogs up to B.A.R.K (Believe, Achieve, Respect, and Kindness) for success!
With gratitude,
Principal Meglich

6th Grade Chaperones Needed!
Hello Rincon Families!
6th grade will be taking a field trip to the Safari Park on March 30 and the 31st. We will need chaperones for both days. If you could please let us know if you are interested we will be sending out more information when the dates get closer. Thanks in advance! Fyi: we will need you all day including on the bus, and we will pair you with your kiddo and will know which day each student is going at a later date. If you respond now and then change your mind or you cannot attend the assigned day, that is totally fine. It should be a great time as the Safari Park is always a wonderful host!
Please include your preferred day (either the 30th or 31st) and reach out to your child's science teacher via Thrillshare or email.
