Hello Knox Families!
Congratulations to our students for completing State CAASPP testing! We got a chance to reward our students with perfect attendance on testing days with our Pie A Teacher Event. As we near the end of the year, we have a lot of fun celebrations going on for students. These include a Game Day, Field Day, Olympics, Art Afternoon, and PJs and a Movie.
June 2nd- Minimum Day 1:40 pm dismissal
June 9th- Minimum Day 1:40 pm dismissal
June 14th-Minimum Day (last day of school) 1:00 pm dismissal
Below, please find additional information for our 8th grade families about Promotion.
Promotion Logistics:
- All 8th graders may participate.
- Promotion is a drive-thru (families may also walk through)
- Date=June 10th
- Drive through by last name: A-G 4:30-5 pm, H-N 5:00-5:30, O-Z 5:30-6pm.
- Cars may be decorated with signs, balloons, etc.
- Enter on Logan, turn on to 49th street, drive thru the upper blacktop.
- Cars will stop at different stations to pick up celebration items for graduating students.
- Students should be sitting on the passenger side of the vehicle (not behind the driver).
- Students should remain in the car.
- Bring any textbooks you still need to return.
8th grade students must attend school on Monday (June 13) and Tuesday (June 14)
- Monday June 13th-8th grade Park Day (return your permission slip to your History teacher).
- Tuesday June 14th- 8th grade Ice Cream Party and book signing.

For all returning Knox students, registration packets will be given out on the first day of school in August. Please continue to monitor your email this summer for information about the 22-23 school year.
