For Immediate Release: Inclement Weather Delayed Start Schedule and Notification
Dear Transmountain Early College High School Community,
Due to inclement weather and anticipated low wind chills, El Paso ISD will implement an adjusted schedule for Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Below are the key details:
Adjusted Schedule
• Start Time for Students: Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay.
• Campus Faculty & Staff: Report at your regular time.
• Meals: Breakfast will be available for students from 9:00 AM to 10:10 AM
• Bus Routes: Morning bus routes will run 2 hours later than usual to align with the district’s delayed start. Afternoon bus routes will operate as normal.
EPCC & UTEP Classes
We are aware that classes at EPCC and UTEP begin on January 21st, and both institutions are currently scheduled to operate at their regular start times.
If your student has a college class during the 2-hour delay, they should go directly to EPCC instead of checking in at TMECHS for attendance.
If any updates are provided by EPCC or UTEP, we will share this information promptly.
