Hello,

As the PACK (Purposeful, Accountable, Connected, and Kind) moves into this semester, I encourage all students to get off to a strong start. I also want to remind everyone about the support available to students in the Decatur Student Center. Please visit the Decatur Student Center webpage to see all the areas in which they support our students. If your student faces challenges in a specific class, we need parents to connect with their teacher as the first line of support. Teachers can best communicate with families to ensure that students' needs are being met in their classrooms.

For our junior and senior parents, please take a moment to review the recently-released prom information, which includes details on this year's theme and location. We hope this will help you plan to make this a special evening. Additionally, please visit the respective class pages to ensure you have taken care of any class dues.

As a friendly reminder, the DHS PTSA is hosting a Welcome Back Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, January 24, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the DHS Cafeteria. The DHS Culinary department will be assisting in this fundraiser, and we look forward to enjoying a spirited community gathering. Please visit GoFan to purchase tickets for the event.

Sincerely,
Duane Sprull, Ed.D.
