The Regional Office of Education #53 would like to welcome all the students and educators back to school! We look forward to seeing the learning and growth of the students in our area's schools during the 2024-2025 school year!

Join ISBE for an interactive professional learning workshop designed to delve into the purpose and intended applications of the IAR and ISA. This professional learning opportunity is tailored to support district and school teams as they unpack their Spring 2024 ELA/L and Mathematics (IAR) and Science (ISA) results to inform current instructional activities and offer insights into the resources available to help support interpretation.

ROE 53 will send out registration information as soon as it becomes available.

Administrator Academy 4050: September 4-5, 2024 in Washington

This two-day in-person training will cover all aspects of evaluation, including principal and assistant principal professional practice and student growth data.

Hello, all! My name is Courtney Prather, and I am excited to join ROE 53 as the literacy instructional coach. I started my career in Woodford County and am thrilled to be back in this area to share my love of all things literacy! I was formerly a classroom teacher, an instructional coach, and, most recently, an adjunct professor in a teacher preparation program.

Outside of education, I am a mother to 3 beautiful children and love spending my free time enjoying our chickens, goats, ducks, and dogs! I look forward to partnering with schools and teachers to continue building the love of literacy within our communities.
