Dear Spradley Families,

We have had an amazing start to the school year! Thank you to all of our parents and families for your continued support, patience, and kindness as we begin another wonderful year at Spradley.

I have been so impressed with our Scholars and our amazing staff! We have been busy learning routines and procedures, building relationships, and, most importantly, engaging in meaningful learning. Seeing all of the smiling faces back in our building makes me so happy, and I am incredibly excited about the year ahead!

💙 DON’T FORGET TO JOIN PTO!
We would love for every Spradley family to join our PTO! Please remember that joining PTO does NOT mean signing up for a full-time volunteer position. We know our families are busy, and we want you to volunteer when and if it is feasible for you. Simply becoming a member helps support our Scholars, teachers, programs, events, and campus. Every membership makes a difference!

📚 ATTENDANCE MATTERS AT SPRADLEY!
Being at school every day and on time is an important part of student success. Please review the important attendance information below. If you have questions or would like additional information, we encourage you to attend one of our Attendance Information Meetings with Mrs. Beste.

☀️ GET READY FOR OUR FIRST FULL WEEK!
As we move into a full week of school, please help our Scholars come ready to learn each day. Encourage your child to:

⭐ Get a good night’s rest
🥞 Eat a healthy breakfast
🎒 Arrive on time and ready to learn
💙 Bring a positive attitude and show that Spradley P.R.I.D.E.!

Thank you for an incredible start and for partnering with us to make Spradley such a special place for our Scholars!

💡 Family Tips of the Week 💡 Family Tips of the Week

🚗 FAMILY TIP: CARPOOL & WALKER SAFETY 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

Keeping ALL of our Spradley Scholars safe is our top priority! 💙 Please take a moment to review our Arrival & Dismissal Procedures and Walker Safety Map with your family.

🚗 Carpool Reminders: Once your student(s) are safely loaded into your vehicle, please remove your car tag from view. If you are carpooling, please make sure students know who they are riding with and the names of all the friends in their carpool group. This helps our staff quickly and safely match students with the correct vehicle.

🚶 Walker Families: Please review the Walker Safety Map and designated routes with your Scholar so everyone knows where to go and how to safely arrive and dismiss.

Thank you for your patience, partnership, and for helping us keep ALL Scholars safe during arrival and dismissal! 🌎💙

Family Lunch Visitors

To help our Scholars have a successful start to the school year, we ask that families wait until after Labor Day before joining students for lunch.

This allows our teachers and staff time to establish consistent routines, expectations, and cafeteria procedures while helping students build confidence and independence.

We truly appreciate your partnership and support as we work together to create a smooth and successful start to the school year. We look forward to welcoming our lunch visitors after Labor Day!

If you'd like, I can also make this warmer and more "Spradley Pride" themed for your parent newsletter.

Keeping Our Spradley Families Informed

We want our families to feel informed, prepared, and connected throughout the school year. We know this is a lot of information, but we hope you will take a few minutes to read through the important updates and reminders included.

📚 Attendance Matters! Consistent, on-time attendance plays an important role in student success. Every day and every minute at school provides valuable opportunities for learning, building relationships, and academic growth.

⏰ Please Help Us Start the Day on Time!
Our doors open at 7:25 AM, and the tardy bell rings at 7:50 AM. It is important that students are in their classrooms and ready to learn by 7:50 AM.

🥞 Students may also enjoy breakfast in the café before going to class, so arriving early can provide additional time for breakfast and a smooth start to the school day.

Thank you for partnering with us to make attendance and punctuality a priority. Every day counts, and every minute matters! Together, we can help every Spradley Scholar achieve, grow, and thrive!

Introducing the Profile of a Learning Leader

The Prosper ISD Profile of a Learning Leader is a shared vision created through the collaboration of teachers, staff, administrators, students, families, and community members. Rooted in the district's 2025–2030 Strategic Priorities, it defines the key attributes, values, and mindsets we strive to develop in every learner and leader across Prosper ISD.

Built upon our four strategic pillars—Together We Champion, Together We Cultivate, Together We Empower, and Together We Prosper—the profile reflects what these priorities look like in action every day for both students and employees.

At Spradley Elementary, the Profile of a Learning Leader is more than a framework—it is woven into our daily culture. Through intentional teaching, collaborative leadership, and meaningful interactions, we actively cultivate these characteristics in every scholar and staff member, empowering all to achieve excellence every day in every way.
