Tips on how to have a thriving high school student!
- Sleep is of the utmost importance. Students should aim for 8 hours of sleep daily!
- Get organized! Make sure students use a daily planner to keep track of dates. Paper copies are available in the main office.
- Students should ask for help early on. If something doesn't make sense students should ask for help in the classroom, from a counselor, or in the tutoring center.
- Students should get involved in something new! Clubs, sports or activities. Get them connected in the school! Please use the following link for Club/Activity registration information: https://adc.d211.org/Page/7835
- Find relief for stress. Walking, journaling, music, working out are all great options.
- Effort > Perfection. Students shouldn't worry about mistakes early on. It's normal. They should get support asap in the tutoring center or from their teacher.

Pirate Booster Club Information
The Palatine High School Pirate Booster Club exists to support and enrich the high school experience for our children while they attend Palatine High School. The ways in which we accomplish this task, are many. Through various fundraising efforts each year, we financially contribute to a wide variety of academic and extra-curricular programs and services that directly impact all students. We also support those programs and services by volunteering at various events throughout the school year. In addition, we award scholarships to graduating seniors each year who personify our mission to strengthen the Palatine High School community, as well as the Palatine community at large. So consider joining us, whether it is through volunteering your time or graciously accepting monetary donations. Help us to accomplish our main goal-to positively affect each student’s experience at Palatine High School. Use the link below for MySchoolBucks to become a member!
