CHROMEBOOK COVERAGE CHROMEBOOK COVERAGE

Families may want to consider purchasing Chromebook insurance to help protect against unexpected costs related to accidental damage, cracked screens, liquid damage, loss, or theft. For a one-time cost of $20, the plan provides coverage with no deductible, compared with a potential $300 replacement cost for an uninsured device. Since Chromebooks are used regularly throughout the school day, accidents can happen even when students are being responsible and careful. This optional coverage can provide families with added peace of mind throughout the school year.

CURRICULUM NIGHT/PARENT OPEN HOUSE- PLEASE NOTE THE CHNAGE OF DATE

  • When you arrive for your child's grade time noted above, you will report to the gym for a brief welcome and explanation of the night.
  • Parents then will be going through their child's schedule with shortened times
  • Each student will be making a schedule Friday , 9/18/26, to bring home to you. Please be on the lookout for the schedule as this is a day early. If you do not have their schedule when you arrive, we can make one for you that night.
  • Also, it is preferred, that the student and other children do not attend, unless there is no other choice for your family.

This is a great opportunity for Teachers and Parents/Guardians to make a connection and form a working relationship. This is optional and we hope to see many of you on Monday 9/21/26 and as always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

DOLLY DAY CELEBRATION IN MEMORY OF MRS. BARBARA GOODALE DOLLY DAY CELEBRATION IN MEMORY OF MRS. BARBARA GOODALE

CTMS is celebrating Dolly Day on Friday, September 25! Students and staff are encouraged to come to school dressed in pink, denim, and rhinestones as we combine Bobcat spirit with a celebration of kindness. Throughout the day, we’ll challenge our school community to spread a little extra joy through random acts of kindness, because even the smallest gesture can make someone’s day. Dolly Day will also highlight our Power of Pink spirit wear fundraiser, which benefits Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library and its mission of putting books into the hands of children - this donation will be given in memory of former CTMS reading specialist Barbara Goodale who passed away recently . We hope everyone will join us for a day of sparkle, kindness, and Bobcat pride!

Student Council gives CTMS students a voice in school life and real hands-on leadership experience. This year, students can get involved in one of two ways: Core Council members attend regular meetings and serve on a committee (Spirit & Events, Service & Fundraising, or Publicity & Announcements), while our Event Volunteer Crew pitches in at specific events, like Spirit Week, bake sales, and drives, with no regular meeting commitment required. Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Sign-ups are open now through Friday, September 25. Students may apply via this google form. Questions? Reach out to advisor Mrs. Heiniluoma.
