Julia has been selected as Student of the Month because she consistently demonstrates kindness and care toward others. She is known for being nice and thoughtful, and she brings a positive attitude into the classroom each day. Julia enjoys drawing in her free time, which allows her to express her creativity. One of her short-term goals is to reach the green zone, showing her commitment to making positive choices, while her long-term goal is to earn good grades throughout the entire school year. Julia is currently reading Freestyles by Carlos Gomez and enjoys exploring new stories, which connects to her favorite subject, ELA. She appreciates ELA because she loves reading about different stories and ideas. Julia is inspired by Mrs. Hartman, whom she describes as an amazing teacher with a good heart who inspires many students. Julia’s hard work, positivity, and caring nature make her a wonderful choice for Student of the Month.

Omar has been selected as Student of the Month because of his special personality and great sense of humor, which bring positivity and energy to those around him. He enjoys staying active through boxing and spending time with his friends, both of which reflect his commitment to balance and teamwork. Omar’s short-term goal is to stay locked in and focused for the rest of the school year, and his long-term goal is to become a neurosurgeon, showing his strong ambition and determination for the future. He is currently reading Divergent and enjoys engaging with exciting and thought-provoking stories. Omar’s favorite subject is Social Studies because he finds it fun and interesting. He is inspired by Mr. Herr, whom he describes as the most real teacher, someone who motivates him to stay focused and be his best. Omar’s motivation, humor, and drive make him a well-deserving Student of the Month.
