November 10 - November 14
Hi Mustang Families!
It was a big week for Mustang sports! Congratulations to our girls' varsity soccer and volleyball teams for undefeated seasons and winning the championships in their leagues!
There's a lot of new announcements in this weekly update. While we place previously published but still important information toward the end of this newsletter, we encourage everyone to take an extra moment to review those posts. You might find events and details that are relevant to your student or of general interest to your family.
Please make sure to check the details on signing up for parent-teacher conferences, which are scheduled for November 19 and 20.
We hope you enjoy the extra time with your families this week as we honor and celebrate those who served and continue to serve our country on Veterans Day. We look forward to seeing everyone back on campus on Wednesday, November 12, at our regular 9:00 a.m. start time.
Have a great week!

Parenting in the Digital World
Tip of tip of the week: Talk about mindful scrolling and the difference between using technology to learn, create and connect versus scrolling out of boredom. Awareness is the first step toward balance.
Join other parents on Monday, November 17 at the Vista Civic Center to continue the discussion about keeping students safe online.
Important Note About Animals at the Career Fair:
The San Diego Humane Society and a local Veterinarian will also be participating in the Career Fair and may have animals at their booths. Student interaction with the animals is completely optional. If your child has an animal allergy and will need their teacher’s support to avoid contact, please complete the section below and return it to Nissa Kuley, School Counselor, in the front office. If your child has an allergy but is able to independently avoid the animals, the form does NOT need to be returned.
All students will get a paper to take home in their class too.
