The Dawg Dispatch is our weekly snapshot of life as a Bulldawg, straight facts, clear wins, and what’s next, so families and staff can pull in the same direction. It reflects our mission:
“The mission of the Aberdeen School District is to inspire ALL students to become problem-solvers, lifelong learners, and productive members of society.”
🌸 Hello, Spring! 🌸
A new season is here, and with it comes fresh energy, new growth, and continued success across the Aberdeen School District! 🌿
As we step into spring, our students and staff are pushing forward, staying focused, and preparing to finish the year strong. This is the season where hard work blooms into achievement!
Let’s keep showing that #BulldawgPride in everything we do, inside the classroom and beyond. 💛🐾
Here’s to a great spring filled with learning, growth, and success!
Bulldawgs in Action - School Spotlight
Matter Matters in Ms. Ridings’ Class
Ms. Ridings’ 5th grade science class discussed the concept of matter, building a strong foundation in understanding its properties and characteristics.
Focused on Growth: Strengthening Skills for Success
Our scholars are hard at work reviewing key concepts and strengthening skills based on the state assessment. This focused effort allows them to revisit areas of need and build a deeper understanding of the material.
We believe in our scholars and all they are capable of achieving. Their dedication and effort continue to make us proud.
Parents and guardians, your support makes a difference. Please continue encouraging your scholars at home and take time to go in-depth on test questions with them. Talking through their thinking and helping them understand both correct and incorrect answers will strengthen their confidence and success.
Recognition for Academic Achievement
On the field and in the classroom, these students are making major moves!
Congratulations to Jordan Logan, Michael Gardner, and Joshua Cunningham for earning the highest scores on the 6th Grade Math Benchmark Assessment at Belle Shivers Middle School!
As a special incentive for their hard work and dedication, they were treated to Wing Time from Mrs. Shaw and Mrs. Calvert.
We are proud of these young men for demonstrating that excellence in academics is just as important as excellence in athletics.
Keep up the great work, Bulldogs!
