Now enrolling for the Spring Semester

Beyond the Bell is an academic opportunity that allows high school students to take dual enrollment courses outside a traditional high school schedule. The Bibb County School District has partnered with Central Georgia Technical College to offer dual enrollment courses throughout our school district. Students can take classes at any of the universities or colleges listed below throughout the academic year as an 8th-period entirely online. No more manipulating your academic schedule or waiting until summer to take dual enrollment classes!

10th Grade Dual Enrollment Change 10th Grade Dual Enrollment Change

Bibb County School District previously provided local funding to allow eligible 10th-grade students to participate in Academic Dual Enrollment opportunities. Unfortunately, this opportunity will not be available for the Spring 2027 semester. As a result, 10th graders must now pay out of pocket for Academic dual enrollment courses.

Central Georgia Technical College

  • Cost: $107 per college credit hour
  • Estimated cost per 3-credit-hour course: $321
  • Payment and registration requirements are determined by the participating college/university.
  • The student and parent/guardian are responsible for ensuring that all required tuition and fees are paid by the institution's established deadline.
