OUR WEBSITE HAS A NEW LOOK!!!

You may have noticed that the Buzz has been coming from a different source, you are now also receiving text messages, and if you've checked out the website, it doesn't look quite the same. We are in the process of changing not only the school website, but also the Parish website so that they are easier to maneuver and you will be able to toggle easily between the two. We ask for your patience as we transfer to the new format. If you notice anything missing that was previously helpful, please let us know. We want this to be an improved communication tool that is user friendly.

Soon we will also be launching a phone app to make searching our website much easier. Be looking for more info shortly.

We need you! Auction donations needed, event sponsorships now available!

You should have received a letter in the mail this week highlighting the various ways that you can get involved as a school parent, parishioner, or business owner in the Spring for Success Auction Gala. Business owners, take this unique opportunity to network and introduce your business to the families of those sitting beside your child in class during the week, and next to you in the pew on Sundays!

And, save the date for 4/29/23! This year’s auction gala is not to be missed - enjoy an evening of cocktails, a gourmet dinner, dancing, and silent & live auctions at the beautiful school-family-owned Marygold Manor. Invitations and more information to come, stay tuned!

BISON Fund

The BISON Fund pre-application form for tuition assistance for the 2023-24 school year is now open for families not currently receiving BISON Fund assistance. To start the process, families can complete a pre-application form online at: http://bisonfund.com/our-scholarships. The deadline is March 15th. Scholarships are awarded using a lottery system from all submitted pre-applications forms and all applicants will be notified of lottery results via email on March 16th.

Please note: Current BISON Fund families do not need to fill out a pre-application, you will be emailed a link to complete the renewal process and add siblings on February 21st.

Have you sold any chocolate yet? Next Friday is the last day to submit orders!

There are two ways to order and help support our school this year, either use the PAPER ORDER FORM that was sent home, pay by check, and have your order(s) shipped to the school, OR create a “Seller ID” (School ID# is FC40) for your child/family to use the ONLINE ORDER FORM from which you can pay by credit card, and have your order(s) shipped direct to your home or to school. Still have questions? Contact Leah Valentine at Leahvalentine09@gmail.com or 716-544-0609. We must charge sales tax, so don’t forget to add the 8.75% onto each item that is ordered via the paper order form!

Thank you to all who helped make our “return to in-person” Catholic Schools Week Breakfast a success!

After a pause during the pandemic, it was so nice for our school families to close out Catholic Schools Week once again with this enjoyable event. From the planning committee…to the food and drink donations…to the volunteers who helped setup, cook, serve and cleanup - a big THANK YOU! We could not have done it without you!!

Congratulations to Victoria Kotlik (grade 8) and the 3rd grade!

You may have heard if you were at the Catholic Schools Week Breakfast this past Sunday, but the class who has won for the most "Snow Me the Money" raffle tickets sold per student is 3rd grade! They win a snowball fight with Fr. Bryan, Fr. Luke, and Mrs. D’Angelo on Fri., Feb. 17th following the 9 am school mass. Congratulations third graders and your families on a job well done with 198 tickets sold!

The individual student who has won for the most tickets sold and is receiving a St. Mary’s spirit wear knit hat and fleece scarf is Victoria Kotlik from 8th grade! Thank you to Victoria and the Kotlik family for selling an amazing 95 tickets!

Good job to all, through the generous support of our school and parish families the raffle raised over $29,000! And congratulations to all of our raffle winners!
