Message from Mr. Fournier Message from Mr. Fournier

I just want to take this opportunity for a few reminders as we move towards the end of the school year.

* Students may arrive at 8:30 a.m. only if they are going to have breakfast. Students can be on the playgrounds beginning at 8:40 a.m.

* Please avoided dropping off your child inside the loop at the school. This is for busses only during the morning and afternoon. You may use the loop to drop off if you have permission from the office.

* No dogs allowed on school grounds during the morning drop off and afternoon dismissal.

Thank you again for your cooperation as the safety of the students is a top priority.

New from the Fruit Street School Library New from the Fruit Street School Library

For the last couple of months our K through third grade students have been listening to 10 books nominated for the Chickadee Award. Our kindergarten students kept track of the stories they heard by gluing pictures of the books into a Chickadee Booklet, which they then used as their voting ballot. First through third graders had to ‘check in’ and get their name verified prior to obtaining their ballot to vote.

Black Beach had the most votes in our school, but statewide, with over 24,000 PK-4 grade students voting, The Three Little Guinea Pigs was named the winner!!
