Induction Spreadsheets

All candidates and mentors were provided a spreadsheet for the year of Induction. Please be sure the first tab is completed. This information is all required by the state as part of our enrollment process. Double check that I have marked the upper right corner "Meets Program Requirements" which indicates that everything is complete and you are approved to participate as a candidate or mentor. If this is not completed, please review your forms for completion. If you have any questions, please contact Trish at patricia_chiles@myfsd.org

Induction Website

As you are getting to know one another, take a moment to check out our website (linked) or go to https://bit.ly/FSDInductionResources. Please bookmark the website as it is the easiest place to find Induction information.

CSTP 2: Creating and Maintaining Effective Environments for Student Learning

Healthy students feel safe and secure in their learning environment. CSTP 2 says that teachers create and uphold a safe, caring, and intellectually stimulating learning environment that affirms student agency, voice, identity, and development and promotes equity and inclusivity.

Within CSTP 2 you will consider the learning environment, student behavior, organizational and resource management, and an inclusive environment.

This week, revisit your routines to ensure they are doing what you intend them to do. This is a great time to establish a consistent, independent task to start class. This plants the seed of ownership—students know exactly what to do without waiting for a "watering" of instructions from you.
