We are excited to share with you that our school community will be celebrating Unity Day on October 21, 2026 this year. Unity Day is an annual event occurring during National Bullying Prevention Month in October that promotes joining together to create healthier communities through kindness, acceptance, and inclusion. It was started by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center in 2011 and is now celebrated around the world. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to talk to your children about bullying prevention and all the positive things we can do to make healthier communities.

Tutoring
If your student is struggling in English or math, please ensure they attend tutoring on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, or participate in Saturday intervention. These programs provide additional support to strengthen skills, complete assignments, and improve academic progress.
An application is required for all programs. Please stop by the main office to pick up and complete an application.

School Safety - Traffic
Your help with an urgent safety concern still remains.
Some students are being dropped off on the opposite side of the street and crossing to reach campus.
Please use the valet drop-off area and do not have your student cross the street to reach school. Set aside an extra 5 to 10 minutes, follow the directions of staff, and be patient with other families. We know mornings are busy, but taking this time helps protect every student. This is a matter of safety.

Attendance Expectations
Regular attendance is crucial for student success. We aim for all students and staff to have an attendance rate of 96%.
Students must arrive at school and be in class at 7:50 am.
When students are absent, they are expected to return to school with a note explaining their absence.
