Checking Attendance

Step 4: Look Fors. See if they have excessive absences (especially unexcused). Arriving to school on time each day and returning on time after lunch! Improving in attendance compared to earlier in the year. Step 5: Tell your child you notice when they show up every day and on time. Share why their good attendance makes you happy or proud. Talk with your child about what helps them get to school on time (Organization, setting alarms, family routines) and keep supporting those strategies.
